Sriracha Shrimp Cocktail for Your Super Bowl Party

Sriracha Shrimp Cocktail

Everyone can make shrimp cocktail or buy it pre-made at the grocery store. Why not change things up and make Sriracha Shrimp Cocktail for Your Super Bowl Party this year. I will be sharing some fun recipes over the next two weeks as we get ready for Super Bowl Sunday.

Super Bowl Sunday

I have written about the Super Bowl before Super Bowl Vittles I love the Super Bowl. More for the party than the game..Unless The Vikings are playing then it maybe all about the game. This year there is a chance I will be doing nothing but watching the game, But lets not get ahead of ourselves as I am all to familiar  with the saying there is always next year.

Today lets just talk about one dish…Sriracha Shrimp Cocktail. It is easy and it will have your guest forgetting about the old-fashioned shrimp cocktail that you have served since the last time my favorite team was in the Super Bowl.

The Case for Sriracha Shrimp Cocktail

I love shrimp cocktail. You know the original pink shrimp dunked in a cocktail sauce the more horseradish the better. I used to make my cocktail sauce but I find the horseradish at the grocery is just not blow your sinuses open, make your eyes water, elevate you to another plane spicy enough. So when I do want the traditional experience I buy St. Elmo’s Cocktail SauceIt is not from the classic 80’s movie St. Elmo’s fire but from the other classic St. Elmo’s Steak House in Indianapolis, Indiana.

I share this with you because there is nothing wrong with the Original Shrimp cocktail. Its great but if you eat it at every party you go to or host for 40+ years you could want to try something new… Yes ok that was about me maybe you are cool with the same thing but me I like to throw caution to the wind and go a little crazy every once in a while. Me too!! you say well than this recipe for Sriracha Shrimp Cocktail is for you!!I
